Bio

I always enjoy accomplishing new and challenging tasks.  The thrill of overcoming something you never thought you could is a feeling like none other.  I may complain a lot while struggling through the task, but deep inside I'm loving every minute of it.  I have many tasks I'm working on at the moment but the one most relevant to this blog is my goal to become a better triathlete.  By becoming a better triathlete I will not only stay healthy but I will also improve as a person.  The principles and strategies I learn from triathlon can easily translate over into my everyday life in things such as work and relationships.

Since starting this journey, I have come to learn that "I can do hard things."  Knowing that, I have decided to take the next step and increase the difficulty.  In races before, my primary goal was to finish with a decent time so that I didn't look like a fool.  Now that I'm no longer new to the sport and have raced at multiple distances it's time to up my game.  This blog should help me do that by making me accountable for what I do, and don't do, so that I hopefully stay on track and stay motivated.  Wish me luck and feel free to leave comments!
